Just so you know, our family is in Lewisville during Ike. My parents, brother & sister are still in Beaumont. They are riding Ike out at our church (first baptist beaumont).
we left yesterday and are now in TN- just wanted you to know- we're at Russ's parents house until power is restored.. a week? a month? have you heard about your house? ours is alright- missing shingles, etc. but standing. and i'm a bit suprised- those winds were fierce.
